LJ Jensen (they/them) is a nonfiction writer whose work explores gender, sexuality, mental health, and the climate crisis. Their essays can be found in The Rumpus, Catapult, Lunch Ticket (forthcoming), and elsewhere. Their writing has been supported by Vermont Studio Center, and they are a nonfiction reader for The Rumpus. In 2025, they will be attending Kenyon Summer Workshop and Tin House Summer Workshop. In 2026, Jensen will be a writer-in-residence at NES in Skagaströnd, Iceland. Jensen is a clinical social worker, harm reduction advocate, and ceramicist. Born and raised in New Hampshire, they now live in Brooklyn.
